Our Story

Established in 2019, the Budding Artist Foundation provides summer scholarships for low income and underserved youth (ages 6-18).  Many young artists begin their journey in school arts programs, however, due to lack of funds are unable to continue in summer programs.

Our mission is to empower the passions of young artists by providing financial support to continue their training. Students learn to connect with people, expand their imaginations, develop confidence, appreciate other’s ideas, and contribute to the artistic community.

Current Program

Our summer arts programs for ‘25 continues partnerships with Korsa Musical Theater in Berkeley, Zaccho Dance Theatre, Brava! For Women in The Arts and ArtSeed in San Francisco. All four organizations will be receiving scholarship assistance for their budding artists.

We are always looking to expand our partnerships to include summer experiences for kids interested in fine arts, film, photography and creative writing.
